Medical Director and Founder

Our anesthesia team is led by Ramesh Sawhney, MD.  Dr. Sawhney recognized that the needs of surgeons and their surgery centers were evolving faster than their anesthesia support services, and he worked with his colleagues to foster innovation in anesthesia delivery.

Dr. Sawhney has more than 25 years of experience in heading anesthesia groups and developing the protocols necessary to create a quality program. His experience in anesthesia and operating room management allow him the expertise to perfect individualized policies and procedures in any surgical atmosphere, while his activities on the administrative side give him a first-rate ability to work data analysis, projections and pro-forma for medical practices.
 
In addition to his experience on the clinical and administrative side of medicine his experience managing multiple anesthesia practices simultaneously has garnered him attention from outside the medical world as well. He was appointed to be an advisor to the State Assembly of New Jersey on medical topics and is also the medical editor for Lifescape Magazine.

 

Associate Medical Director of Office-Based Anesthesia

Dr. Sandor’s professional experience centers on developing expertise in orthopedic and podiatric surgery. In addition, his postgraduate fellowship in pain management at Mt. Sinai and clinical fellowship in neurosurgery have given him a wide range of knowledge. Taken together, his training and experience make him particularly qualified to implement and improve anesthesia programs.

Dr. Sandor acquired high-level leadership and organizational abilities from his time as a Captain in the United States Air Force. His attention to detail and comprehensive approach to anesthesia and pain management have served him well while working in a number of different ambulatory environments providing leadership consulting.

 

Associate Medical Director of Ambulatory Anesthesia

Dr. Mian has integrated his leadership model with his expertise in pain management to develop office-based practices throughout New Jersey. As Chief Resident of University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, he developed programs within the university and coordinated with surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses. During this time he demonstrated a high level of expertise in leadership training.

Dr. Mian’s ability to coordinate and train, combined with his expertise in per-operative pain management and office-based anesthesia, give him a unique ability to develop office-based practices. His wide range of experience in various office environments enables him to implement programs in almost any specialty.
