Prior to treatment, our team conducts a review of each patient’s medical clearances, to minimize costly cancellations. We also interview patients, when appropriate, to confirm medical clearances.

We conduct daily reviews of your OR schedule and coordinate your nursing staff to ensure your practice is time-optimized. We perform consultations with patients who may not qualify for general anesthesia in order to streamline the operative procedure and reduce same day cancellations.

And we implement a quality control program with review, to monitor performance and raise the level of your practice’s expertise, volume and efficiency.

To administer anesthesia in New York and other states, office based surgery facilities are required by law to be accredited before obtaining a license. And licensed surgery centers can add to their stature and value by obtaining accreditation.

Gramercy Anesthesia Services, PC provides advice and assistance on accreditation by three major organizations: the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF), and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

We provide assistance in selecting the proper accreditation agency for your practice; evaluating your facility and preparing it for review; staff education; compliance support; and completing the application process itself.
